In keeping with the senior pastor's vision to communicate our mission to a more diverse audience and to encourage and welcome fellowship among God's people, regardless of race, gender or economic background, the Television Ministry was successfully launched in September of 2002. As a result, we have already begun to witness an influx of new people into the church. Our weekly broadcast, Seeking God's Face, is a vehicle we are certain will empower, nurture and enhance many lives. The following is a brief description of the Television Ministry's highlights:
- In 2004, we expanded our coverage into Comcast Cable, Trenton, Long Branch, Toms River, (check your local listing). We also expanded our Cablevision coverage in Morris County, reaching out to an even broader audience, which will include Morristown, Denville, Chatham, Madison, Parsippany, Rockaway Borough and Dover Township.
- Purchased cameras and other production equipment, which eliminated the reliance on rental equipment
- Added DVD equipment, and set-up our own pre-production and distribution system for small orders.
We, of St. James Television Ministry will continue to serve the Lord, our Pastor and the community, in our efforts to spread the Word of God to the masses through television broadcasts. In 2005, Seek God’s Face looks forward to moving into cyberspace to share the Good News with the Internet community.
