There are a number of scholarship opportunities that are currently available and please stop by or call the church office Tuesday-Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM to obtain details. Saint James’ Marriage Enrichment Ministry will worship with Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for their first marriage retreat Friday and Saturday, February 10-11 2012. All workshops and worship services will take place at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church - 198 Chadwick Ave., Newark. Registration is $50 a couple and $25 for individuals. Let’s support Pleasant Grove on their first marriage retreat. Secret Pals Annual Luncheon will be on Saturday, February 11th and tickets are available for purchase and please see a Secret Pals Ministry member to do so.
PSE&G urges its customers to see if they are eligible for help to pay their winter heating bills through the federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Eligibility guidelines for various household sizes, as well as information and links to LIHEAP and other assistance programs that help customers not eligible for low income programs, are available on the PSEG website at www.pseg.com/help or call the LIHEAP call center at 1-800-510-3102 and applications will be accepted until April 30th.
