What is Sunday Worship in South Orange?  Sunday Worship in South Orange is a contemporary, multicultural, multi-generational worship experience that is held in the 3rd floor Loft of South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC). This worship environment is very relaxed and you are simply asked to come as you are. All are welcome!

 

  

Is it really a worship service? Yes! It’s a nontraditional-paperless-contemporary-worship service that utilizes the latest in power-point technology. We have praise and worship, life changing preaching, and dance ministry as well as 1^st Sunday Holy Communion and 4th Sunday Youth Recognition!

Are there ministries that I can participate in? Yes! Sunday Worship in South Orange is the second worship site of St. James Church (Newark) and members of both sites are welcome to participate in ministries that St. James Church offers. However, there are some ministries that are specific to the Sunday Worship in South Orange experience such as: The Hospitality Ministry (director: Sis. Linda Rutherford), Dot.Com/2nd Site Tech Team (director: Rev. Babydoll Kennedy), Praise and Worship (director: Min. Steve Hill), Visitor's Table (director: TBD), Dance Ministry (director: Sakinah Conway), and College Ministry.
